Last weekend, Rudy, Julie and I took part in the West Wales Congress, held at the Glamorgan Arms, Pontlliw, near Swansea. We were all doing pretty well by Saturday night, Rudy on 2.5/3 in the Open, and, in the Major, Julie on 2/3 and me on 2.5/3. Not sure what happened to us next day, but we only scored half a point between us, my draw in the last round. I’m posting one game from the tournament, a ferocious attack by Rudy with a twist in the plot at the end:
